  • This is the touchstone of everything we do! We know that the more factual information we have, the better we can do for our chinchilla friends, their owners, and the public. Here at Cygnus, we never stop learning!

  • Every potential new owner takes a “Chinchillas 101” class with me where they learn the basics of chinchilla care, and what to expect with their new pet.

  • Any current chinchilla owner, or even someone who is thinking of getting a chinchilla is more than welcome to contact me for this class; I do charge $5 for those who aren’t current customers.

• Support.

  • Chinchillas are unlike any other pocket pet, and their care, while strict, is easy once the facts are out there. We are here to help if you find yourself in a weird spot with your chin, be that with a behavior, a dietary change, etc.

  • Please keep in mind that we are not veterinarians, and we do not play one on TV. We can give best guesses on what is going on, but if it’s a medical question, your best bet in to get your chinchilla into a DVM ASAP.
