Linda
Linda is a four year old light beige with gorgeous jellybean eyes. She came in with three other chinchillas as a solo chinchilla, and Linda needs to stay a solo chinchilla, as she will fight with any other chinchilla that she comes into contact with. Linda is not huge on being held, but we are working on that; she does love to receive scritches and pets, and will come running to the side of the cage for treats. She knows our commands/sounds/signs for: treats, scritches, and being picked up, and is very opinionated!
Adoption Fee: $150
These chinchillas have arrived at the shelter through various circumstances, which means their background, where they originated (pet store, breeder, backyard breeder), how they have been treated, how old they are, and more can be a big question mark. We do our best to ensure each chinchilla is suitable to be adopted out from both a personality and health standpoint.
Available Pedigreed Chinchillas
Pedigreed chinchillas are chinchillas with known genetics (generally several generations), history, and health background.
Duncan
Meet Duncan, a 9 year old beige chinchilla with an attitude twice the size of him! He’s a little guy who came in with a cage mate over two years ago, and decided he wanted to be an only chin-child. He loves treats and grumbling.

Chinchilla Pairs - Sometimes More
Pairs of chinchillas, always same sex. These pairs may be a younger animal with an older animal, a pedigreed animal paired with a shelter animal, two pedigreed, two shelter, etc.
Theo and Gizmo
Theo is the sterling (standard gray) and Gizmo is the beige with the cute little nose. They are a May/December pairing, as Theo is 5 and Gizmo is 13, but they are very happy together. Theo is a bit of a wild child, but loves an oat here and there, and Gizmo waits patiently every night for his chunk of hay cube. These boys have been here for over a year, and would love to go to a home where they get attention as the few chinchillas around.
